Thermal Image UK has been a UK agent for Retrotec Blower Door Systems for the past 10 years. Our understanding of the systems available is based on our daily use of the fans, testing across central Scotland. We now have 2x 300 series fans for testing Passivhaus and other very airtight properties, and 8x 6000 series fans for testing houses and large buildings. By using all the 6000 series fans together in parallel, we can test some of the largest buildings in Scotland, with a combined air flow of over 100,000 m3/h.

We are delighted to be attending and exhibiting at the upcoming Homebuilding & Renovating Show at the NEC in Birmingham, 21-24 March 2024. We will have representatives available to provide practical advice on the most appropriate Retrotec equipment to enable you to undertake your work – whether you are starting out or scaling up. Cooler weather in October and November, is the start of thermal imaging season. Over the summer our work has been mainly air tightness testing across Scotland, including a mixture of housing and commercial buildings.

We’re delighted to be supporting our local family-focused Strathaven Rugby Football Club.

Thermal Image UK (TIUK) is delighted to be supporting environmental charity Climate Action Strathaven (CAS) as part of CAS’s newly launched “Retrofit Strathaven” project. TIUK will be carrying out a series of air tightness tests and thermal imaging surveys across housing in Strathaven to measure air permeability and air leakage, and detect missing or displaced insulation.

Thermal Image UK is delighted to have again been awarded Alcumus SafeContractor accreditation for achieving excellence in health and safety in the workplace, and to have improved our Sustainability rating to Gold level.
