Thermal Image UK is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and to preventing acts of modern slavery from happening within our business and supply chain. We expect the same high standards from all our suppliers and other business partners.
Thermal Image UK Ltd is a small family run business with five employees. We offer consultancy services for air tightness testing and thermal imaging across the construction industry in Scotland. To find out more about our business visit: www.thermalimageuk.com.
As part of our commitment to combating modern slavery, we have introduced this Anti-Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking policy.
Our Managing Director has overall responsibility for ensuring this policy complies with our legal and ethical obligations, and that all those under our control comply with it.
Our Managing Director has overall responsible for implementing this policy, monitoring its use and effectiveness in countering modern slavery. However, we believe that the prevention, detection, and reporting of modern slavery in any part of our business or supply chain is the responsibility of all those working for us or under our control.
We require anyone working for us or under our control to raise concerns about any issue or suspicion of modern slavery in any part of our business or supply chain at the earliest possible opportunity.
To monitor and reduce the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking occurring within our business and supply chain we have made this policy freely available to all suppliers and business partners via our website.
Thermal Image UK evaluates the nature and extent of the risk of modern slavery happening in its business or supply chain on an ongoing basis. We assess any instances of non-compliance with this policy on a case-by-case basis and will tailor remedial action appropriately.
We are committed to ensuring our staff are equipped to recognise the risks of modern slavery in our business and supply chain. Communication and awareness of this policy, and of the risk our business faces from modern slavery in its supply chain forms part of the induction process for all individuals who work for us.
We are using key objectives to measure how successful we have been in ensuring that modern slavery is not taking place in any part of our business or supply chain. Our key objective for this year has been successfully achieved and is as follows:
- Develop, implement and communicate an Anti-Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy.
This statement is made in accordance with section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes Thermal Image UK Ltd’s anti-modern slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year 1 April 2020-31 March 2021.
